In late September and early October, The Comedy Barn Theater introduced Hospitality Nights, welcoming more than 600 employees from the Sevier County hospitality and tourism industry. To thank them, attendees paid a special ticket price to enjoy the comedy and music that have made The Comedy Barn a local favorite for more than 30 years. We always enjoy seeing our local hospitality staff join us for a night of laughs and music, and it reminds us of how we're all connected and support each other. As a result, we were pleased to see such a turnout, and were able to raise money for the Sevier County Food Ministries, an organization that helps feed those in need in the area.
We donated 100% of the admission fees collected during the four Hospitality Nights to Sevier County Food Ministries. Our own Danny Devaney presented the check to Director Jim Davis this October. The total donation of $3,085 will support the nonprofit organization's mission of providing food and hope to thousands of families facing food insecurity.
