Pigeon Forge is truly a special place. As one of the most visited vacation destinations in the country, it is home to popular attractions and spots that you won’t want to miss. While you’re in the area, we recommend trying experiences that you can only enjoy in this incredible area. To help you plan your trip, we’ve made a list of the 5 things you’ll only find in Pigeon Forge:

1. A Southern Breakfast with Animatronic Chickens

A delicious Southern breakfast may not be hard to come by depending on where you live, but you haven’t ever had one quite like the one you’ll get at Frizzle Chicken Café in Pigeon Forge! Not only is this the most family-friendly restaurant in the area, but it provides a dining experience unlike any other. While you dine, guests will be entertained by singing animatronic chickens. You have to see it to believe it!

2. The Most Award-Winning Clean Comedy Show

Something else you’ll only find in Pigeon Forge is the most award-winning clean comedy show! Our list wouldn’t be complete without including our popular show. Our unique performance is something you won’t see anywhere else. Our cast of comedians, jugglers, ventriloquists, singers, dancers, and barnyard animals will provide you with a night of a thousand laughs! They’ll wow you not only with their comedy, but with their talents as well. Our juggler, for example, shows off his skills with items others wouldn’t dare to try. He juggles everything from bowling pins to bear traps! Another thing that makes our show unique is its audience participation. We love getting help from a few lucky audience members during select acts. It gives our performers the chance to show off their improvisation skills, and it guarantees that no two shows are the same!

3. A Replica of Dolly Parton’s Childhood Home

Are you a Dolly Parton fan? Then you’ll love visiting Dollywood in Pigeon Forge! The theme park is filled with influences from the country legend herself, as well as a few special exhibits that represent her life. One you don’t want to miss is the replica of Dolly’s childhood home! The Tennessee Mountain Home is a two-room replica of Dolly’s Locust Ridge childhood home. The home lacked electricity and running water, but love was abundant — and you can feel it when you walk through the replica!

4. A 25-Pound Apple Pie

Also at Dollywood is another unique thing you’ll only find in Pigeon Forge: a 25-pound apple pie! The pie is so large that it requires 35-40 medium apples, a whole pound of butter, cinnamon, sugar, and brown sugar. You can get the whole 25-pound pie, which comes in a cast-iron skillet, or you can get a single piece! Just one piece of the pie is big enough to feed 4 people and weighs about 3 pounds. You can find the pie at Spotlight Bakery, near the entrance of Dollywood.

5. Diving Hillbillies

We bet you wouldn’t ever think you’d have the chance to see diving hillbillies in Pigeon Forge! Well, you can, and it’s a sight you don’t want to miss. In 2018, the Hatfield & McCoy Dinner Feud introduced a 22 feet deep swimming hole to its theater. During a portion of the show, the stage transforms into a giant swimming hole that’s filled with more than 20,000 gallons of water. It’s big enough for both the Hatfields and McCoys to get in at once! The hillbillies perform impressive high-diving stunts off the diving board. Even diving dogs get in on all the action! While you’re there, you’ll also get to witness jaw-dropping tricks, mighty feats of strength, singing and dancing competitions, and more — all while enjoying a delicious all-you-can-eat feast. It’s an experience you won’t find anywhere else!
